This past week was absolutely fantastic. I had the opportunity to hang out with a bunch of young artists.This cat right here is my main man, JULIAN and his mom. Like myself he comes from the family, (Jul)! We have a long history of famous folks, such as Caesar and Erving and that big bright guy from Florida called Orange. A couple of us have this artistic talent. I know for a fact Julian does. Look for his talent in 2010 and beyond!

My name is Julius Lyles. I’m the founder of “Lylesart” which the primary focus of the business is exhibiting visual social media. I am also a photographer, graphic designer, sculpture and extremely passionate about painting. Painting in an expressionistic abstract and folk art style. This spring I had the opportunity to spend time with a bunch of gifted, talented, energetic and artistic group of (5)ive to (13)hirteen year old students that attend The Carole Robertson Center for Learning in Chicago. We explored the concept of Folk Art and expanded our knowledge base for the appreciation of the craft.

This journey was so constructive for us that we decided to shear our experience and future discoveries with the world. So please, blog along so we can become one global community that are passionate about the growth of the creative mind.
